Hridayapoorvam, L2 Empuraan and Thudarum are catching well at the box office, marking Mohanlal’s return to theaters. The Malayalam heartworming drama has recorded a good early weekend, while also facing a difficult struggle with Loca Chapter One-Chandra.
Stunned by Satyan Anthikad, the film reduced its box office journey by Rs 3.25 crore, becoming the third largest opener in Kerala this year. The film collected Rs 2.45 crore on the second day, followed by Rs 2.60 crore on the third day. According to estimates, Hridaypurvam today recorded a nominal jump on Sunday.

Supported by Ashirvad Cinemas, Hridaypurvam raised more than Rs 2.95 crore on its fourth day. The expanded opening weekend cum reached the Kerala box office to Rs 11.25 crore.
While the film began on a higher figure compared to Loca in Kerala, it took the seat back from the second day, as the superhero film was opened for a brilliant word-mouth. Nevertheless, the film is never leaving the field soon, it is registering important traction and is definitely a successful enterprise to emerge at the box office.
The Mohanlal starrer should target strong trends over the week and then a good jump in the second weekend. If it manages to perform on the expected lines, Malayalam cinema will get two successful ventures to this ONAM. The third release of this weekend, Odam Kuthira Chadam Kuthira is not getting much traction, which is due to the poor word-mouth.
