The Tamil film Dragon became a juggling at the box office. The film grossed over Rs 135 crore in 18 days of its dramatic run worldwide. After winning the world around the world, the film is now scheduled for a Hindi-dab release with the title-Return of the Dragon. It is being discussed here whether the film can give John Abraham’s The Diplomat a difficult battle.
Dragon’s return is likely to woo the cinemas near the northern Indian audiences, but it is expected to be released on a lower screen than the diplomat. Due to this, the film is expected to have a slow start. However, it will be interesting to see if the film can actually become a big challenge for John Abraham film. So far, the diplomat has the upper hand because it has a big star.
The film Pradeep Ranganathan will also face Kesari Veer, in which Soraj Pancholi is mainly shown. Although Kesari Veer does not have much discussion yet, if the film is bigger than this film in South Dubbed Hindi, then do not be surprised.
Given the current discussion, John Abraham’s The Diplomat can open above Rs 5 crore, while Dragon’s return in Hindi can start its journey in Hindi with Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Kesari Veer is expected to inaugurate a similar inauguration at the box office.
Apart from these three releases, some old films are also ready for their second innings at the box office later this week.
