Anurag Kashyap is a multi-talented artist who has contributed as a director, producer, writer and an actor in Hindi cinema. Kashyap started his journey as a screenwriter in Ram Gopal Varma’s 1998 film Satya. He started his direction with Panch, however, it never saw daylight in theaters. Anurag Kashyap has taken 15 films for two decades in his direction career, out of which there were seven disasters, seven flops, and one as a bottom-average grocer. In his filmography as a director, he has only a successful venture, ie Dev D. The romantic drama of 2009 was a modern day conversion of Devdas. Starring Abhay Deol, Mahi Gill and Kalki Kochlin, it emerged as an average grocer.

Vaspur Part 1 gangs to release again tomorrow

Anurag Kashyap’s creed classic film, Gangs of Wasipur Part 1 is making its dramatic comeback this year. Manoj Bajpayee, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chafdha, Piyush Mishra, and others, the first installment of the 2012 Crime Drama Series continues again in PVR Inox on 28 February, 2025.
