Box Office: Accountant 2 is out after Amazon MGM’s second largest dramatic red

Re-Retured Action Thriller from Hollywood, The Accountant 2 recently hit theaters across the United States on 25 April, 2025. The film starred by Gavin O’Coner and is headed by Ben Exthal and John Bernthal. This sequel to 2016 is running in its second week at the box office.

While the film was opened mainly for positive reviews from the audience, it has not yet proved to be a considerable box office success at the box office. It has recently raced at the box office for a gross of 9.5 million USD in its second 3-day weekend, which is more than 61 percent from its first weekend. Memorously, its 2016 prequel had experienced the second weekend of the US $ 13.6 million, and stood less than an accountant showing signs of concern for this sequel.

Even after these worrying signs, Accountant 2 has shown the second best Friday for Amazon MGM, only under the US $ 13.2 million cum on the second Friday of the Red Forest. The Ben Eafleck starrer has so far earned USD 54.4 million at the box office worldwide, of which USD 41.2 million has an important contribution in the US box office.

With its current trend at the box office, Accountant 2 is expected to finish its run at the US box office, with about US $ 70 million, lower than a cost of US $ 70 million, USD 80 million. This will make the final gross film disappointingly less than its prequel.

The 2016 release accountant earned an US $ 86.3 million at the US box office, contributing to the gross of US $ 155.2 million worldwide. This resulting box office collection came despite mixed negative reviews, the action-thriller faced back, resulting in a worse welcome compared to its sequel.
