Box Office: 2 more sets for Mohanlal’s Hridaypurvam, Prithviraj’s merger Buddha, and ONAM 2025 Clash

Onam 2025 Box Office Race is ready for a grand performance, which has targets for release at least two major films, and possibly all four if things run according to the plan. The first lineup is Hridaypurvam, starring Mohanlal, directed by Satyathan Anthikad. Next, Dhabaha, an action thriller directed by Dhananjay Shankar, in the race, starring Dilip and Vinith Srinivasan. The film follows the story of a fraudulent astrologer who unexpectedly gains the power to travel through time. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan, the film brings a fresh twist in the time-journey style by combining it with astrology, which can click well with the audience. If the team manages to complete filming and post-production on time, Bhabhabha ONAM can add even more heat to the clash.

Rounding from the list is the plot: The Wild Society, a fantasy thriller directed by Rosin Thomas. Starring Jayasuri, Anushka Shetty and Prabhu Dev, the film comes with an additional advantage of Anushka’s mass fanbase. With the position of his previous hit Bhamathi and his creed, his presence has already made a buzz, especially among the Telugu fans. Combined with the film’s complicated poster and scary-fantasy theme, Kishanar is expected to attract both Malayalam and Pan-Indian audiences. With all four big films monitoring the same festive window, Onam 2025 is taking shape as an thrilling box office battle.
