Border 2 earned Rs. Collected. Earned around Rs 2.75 crore on its third Friday at the Indian box office. This represents a 15 percent decline from Thursday last week and a 73 percent decline from Friday. The drops are on the steeper side. Normally one would expect the business to stabilize by this point and see a small decline, especially in the absence of any major competition. However, that hasn’t happened, and this is despite the film receiving positive reviews, so that’s a bit of a surprise.
The total box office collection of the film was Rs. Approximately Rs 278 crore nett. The film has performed well on weekends, but has seen a slight decline on weekdays so far. From here one should go on the third weekend to collect Rs. 13-14 crore nett, which brings the total turnover to Rs. Will take you closer to. 290 crores till Sunday. The film is comfortably on its way to cross Rs 1 crore. 300 crore nett, but cannot go beyond that.
Border 2 is a hit film. At one time it seemed like the super hit was a done deal, but now it may be a close call, depending on how the late stages for the film pan out. For that matter, even Blockbuster was a possibility after what it did in its extended first weekend, but the decline in weekday business ruled it out. Nonetheless, this is a very solid result for the film, it just failed to meet the expectations that were set after the historic success of Gadar 2 in 2023.
The box office collection of Border 2 in India is as follows:
| Day | net |
|---|---|
| week one | Rupee. 210.00 crores. |
| week two | Rupee. 65.00 crores. |
| third friday | Rupee. 2.75 crores. |
| Total | Rupee. 277.75 crores. |
