Babushan Mohanty starrer Odia film Bata Bata Bhuta continued well at the box office. The horror film saw an unprecedented box office trend, thanks to its brilliant word-mouth.
Bo Bata Bhuta smashed Rs 1 crore on 2 Sundays, Cum achieved a mark of Rs 10 crore
Directed by Jagdish Mishra, Bo Bata Bhuta is scripting history at the box office. The Odia Horror film kicked with Rs 40 lakh and scored a net of Rs 3.1 crore in its expanded initial weekend and Rs 6.55 crore in its long starting week.
The Babushan Mohanty film gathered Rs 70 lakh on the second Friday and entered the second weekend, after which it was Rs 80 lakh on Saturday. According to estimates, the film earned around Rs 1 crore on its day 11 (2 Sunday), which took the total cum at the Indian box office for Rs 9.05 crore.
Co-interacted Archita Sahu, Aparajita Mohanty, and others, the film is now coming to India in the rear of the Rs 10 crore net mark, a huge achievement for an Odia film. Interestingly, Odisha has always supported supernatural plays, and Bo Bata Bhuta has taken it a notch.
