Boney Kapoor, who often honors the memory of his late wife Sridevi, recently shared how her influence continues to inspire him. In an emotional interview with News18 Shosha, Kapoor opened up about Sridevi’s influence on his personal life, especially her commitment towards fitness.
She mentioned how her dedication towards a healthy lifestyle inspired her weight loss journey. Kapoor recalled how Sridevi, who was always conscious of her health, encouraged her to lose weight and follow a disciplined routine, which she tried to maintain but found it challenging to maintain. He jokingly mentioned going for walks and going to the gym with her.
Despite Sridevi’s untimely demise in February 2018, Kapoor feels that her presence is still with him. He said that he feels that she continues to inspire him to stay healthy.
Kapoor shared that her advice and her doctor’s recommendation to lose weight for health reasons were key factors in her weight loss, which has also improved her overall well-being.
Boney and Sridevi’s love story began when they got married in June 1996 and had two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor in 1997 and Khushi Kapoor in 2000.
