Vikas Khanna’s New York City restaurant, Bungalow, has already become a culinary sensation. It recently made The New York Times list of the Top 50 Restaurants in North America for 2024. The fine dining establishment is booming, and Bollywood actor Boman Irani was the latest person to experience the joys of it. Currently in America for the premiere of mehta boys Boman Irani stayed in the bungalow during his visit to New York with his wife Zenobia and close friends for the Chicago South Asian Film Festival. The actor shared a reel on his Instagram, which showcases Chef Khanna’s hospitality and the delicious dishes served at the restaurant. The video shows Vikas Khanna personally meeting his guests and introducing them to his creations. The array of delicious offerings highlighted in the reel included Banarasi Puri, Dahi Kebab wrapped in crispy kataifi, Lamb Shank Nihari, Amritsari Chole, Fruity Pani Puri and Chicken Biryani.

Boman Irani was not alone in his culinary adventure. He was also accompanied by food writer, actor and TV personality Kunal Vijaykar, who shared his glowing review of the restaurant. In a separate Instagram post, she described her experience as a “culinary dream,” praising the delicious dishes that “dance with flavor.”
Kunal Vijayakar elaborated on the dishes he enjoyed, including Chicken Chitrani, Lamb Shank Nihari and the innovative Shrimp Balchao Kon. He emphasized that each meal is a story of love and tradition, making Bungalow a must-visit for foodies. “The Panch Paneer Kulcha and the melt-in-the-mouth Dahi Kebab are pure bliss! Each dish is a celebration of love and tradition, making it a must-see for food lovers. Can’t wait to return for more unforgettable moments!” He has written.
