Actor and filmmaker Boman Irani recently participated in the French Open in Paris and tied a major item from his bucket list. A dream he had nurtured since childhood. Sharing his happiness on social media, Boman thanked his family for the surprise of a special birthday, called the whole experience “wow”.
Boman posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram from the prestigious tournament. He wrote in the caption, “My childhood dream is coming true. Thank you for this amazing birthday gift @zenobia.irani @daneshirani and @kayozeirani! Here in Paris for #Frenchopen here and it’s all kinds of amazing – energy, city, whole experience!
The surprise was planned by his wife Zenobia and sons Danesh and Kayoz Irani, who gifted him the journey for his birthday.

On the work front, Boman is gearing up for the release of ‘Tanvi the Great’, where he plays the role of a famous music person Raza Saab. Directed by Anupam Kher, the film also includes Shubangi Dutt, a newcomer in the Titular Role and Features Music by Oscar winner MM Kerwani. The inspirational story follows a young woman with autism to fulfill the dream of her late father.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival of 2025 and is set for a dramatic release on 18 July.
