Bo-Tay turns 6, brings back OG menu. I tried it and I loved it

Want to eat or party in Delhi or both? Mehrauli is a great place as it has a wide variety of restaurants and bars. But there are only a few that I want to visit again and again. Bo-Tai is one of them. Specializing in Asian cuisine, Bo-Tai offers the perfect blend of cosmopolitan Italian design with a vibrancy of Thai colors. The name is a verbal satire on formal attire – a ‘bow-tie’ that represents both the style and taste of upper class living. And now, Bo-Tai is celebrating its 6-year anniversary with an interesting campaign, “The OG Bo-Tai Turns 6”. To celebrate its successful run, the restaurant has reintroduced its OG menu, showcasing a pioneering approach to its OG authentic Thai cuisine. You can once again enjoy the beloved classics we love.

Bo-Tai’s innovative cocktail menu enhances the dining experience even more. Crafted by an international mixologist, each cocktail is thoughtfully crafted to enhance the subtle flavors of the dishes.

Since Bo-Tay is one of my favorites, I had to join in on the festivities and try the OG menu now that it’s back for a limited time. The atmosphere and vibe at Bo-Tay was still the same – high-energy, yet chic and gorgeous. The upbeat music got me excited to sink into a great cocktail – and this was their Full Moon Festival. The cocktail was as pretty as it was sensational. Served in a large goblet representing the full moon, it was decorated with flowers and I sipped with joy with every sip. I also tried the Picante – tequila cocktails are my favorite, and Bo-Tay did not disappoint. I also highly recommend the Cool Heart and Wednesday Day but the Full Moon Festival is absolutely not to be missed.

While my excitement was high due to the lovely cocktails, my stomach was craving for some food. I had to have the ever-popular Preserved Raw Mango and Avocado Salad. It was refreshing, summery and very tasty. Next, I had the Crispy Caramelised Prawns. True to its name, it was crispy, and the caramelised prawns were juicy and delicious. Another must-try dish. But I got my favourite – Crispy Lotus Stem. The crispy and delicious Lotus Stem was so good that I couldn’t stop myself from eating it. The Disheveled Chicken was a mediocre not bad dish, but the Grilled Chilean Sea Bass was mind blowing. It was a perfect blend of flavours with well-cooked sea bass –

Among the main dishes, I chose the Thai Green Curry with Jasmine Rice. Another great dish that is now on my recommended list. The whole dish was great, but only a good dessert can make it perfect. – The Coconut Creme Brulee was just what I needed to give it a sweet ending.

The special OG menu is available till July 15, and no one should miss it.
