In this special report, Munira Hussain, co-founder of Blue Blocks Montessori School, discusses an unprecedented achievement by 17 students from Hyderabad. High school students have prepared a CubeSat payload set to launch on ISRO’s PSLV-C62 mission from Sriharikota on January 12 at 10:17 am. The students, including Class 10 student Tanashree Parthy, collaborated with TechMe2Space to design the satellite, saying, ‘Teenagers’ minds are really aiming for space.’ The project, which will last for two years, includes sensors for temperature, humidity, accelerometer and gyroscope. Founder Pawan Goyal explains that the students tested these sensors by attaching the satellite to a drone and flying it at an altitude of half a kilometer to collect data. Release of Vijay's 'Jannanayakan' postponed: A glimpse of politics?

29:49

Political storm erupts over indefinite delay of Vijay’s last film ‘Jannanayakan’ before Pongal

This news report covers two major political controversies in India. The primary focus is the indefinite postponement of actor Vijay’s last film ‘Jannanayakan’, which was scheduled to release on January 9. The delay due to lack of certification from the Censor Board has given rise to a political controversy in Tamil Nadu. The Congress and DMK allege that this is a deliberate move by the BJP-led Center to weaken Vijay’s political debut, a claim the BJP denies. Madras High Court is ready to pronounce its verdict on the release of the film. The program also examines the funding controversy in Karnataka, where the state government’s advertising spending is under scrutiny. Reports indicate that the ‘National Herald’ newspaper received a disproportionately large share of advertising funds, raising questions about the use of taxpayers’ money and potential conflicts of interest. The discussion includes panelists Kasturi Shankar (BJP), Salem Dharani Dharan (DMK), and analyst Suman C. Raman.
