plot:

Shoaib (Fardeen Khan) is a cab driver living in Dongri who wants to live a life of respect. His inability to produce a jacket full of drugs given to him by his old friend Peter, who is involved in the drug trade, lands him in big trouble. Soon, he finds himself in a situation that involves a high profile kidnapping.

Krystle D’Souza plays Shoaib’s girlfriend Lucky who works at a local cafe. Sheeba Chaddha plays Shoaib’s mother who suffers from dementia. Riteish Deshmukh plays Akash, the father of Paddy – the boy who gets kidnapped. Priya Bapat plays Tara, Paddy’s mother.

What will happen to the boy? How will Shoaib get himself out of this mess? Watch Vishfot to know.

What works for explosions:

Blast is a highly entertaining masala-thriller that keeps you hooked from start to finish. It is fast-paced and the various things happening in the film grab your attention easily. The thriller is woven very beautifully and the way the different plots move towards the end is worth watching as a viewer. You learn a lot about the underbelly of Mumbai and you also get to know about a whole nexus involving corrupt police officers and informers who get active when they think they have a chance to make dirty money. The camera work is excellent and it immerses you in the action of the film. The background music is good and the song that plays towards the climax of the film adds well to the story.

What doesn’t work for explosions:

Visfot has convenient writing. There are certain elements in the film that you will not believe when you see them. Though this makes the film less boring, it makes it more exciting and fun to watch. The acting of some characters in the show is incredible, for example Peter’s character and Shoaib’s mother Roshan Appa’s character. There are certain scenes that could not have been forced in the film. Otherwise, Visfot is a great masala show.

Watch the Explosion Trailer:

Explosion display:

Riteish Deshmukh is very good in his role as the helpless father Akash. He has shown a solid range in his acting. Priya Bapat as the helpless mother Tara has done her role well. Fardeen Khan as Shoaib has raised hopes. Krystle D’Souza has done a good job as Lucky, but her character has not got any special impact. Sheeba Chaddha’s character of Shoaib’s mother Roshan Appa has bothered the audience a bit and the same applies to Tejas Gaikwad’s character of Peter. Seema Biswas has given a strong performance as Acid Tai. Other supporting characters have done a good job in their small roles.

Final verdict of Visfot:

Visfot is an entertaining masala-thriller. It is fast-paced and a lot of fun.
