Blake Lively is busy promoting her new film It Ends With Us in London. While walking the red carpet at the premiere event, Lively shared her reaction to Taylor Swift receiving a terror threat during her Vienna concert.
Lively revealed that, according to her, the plot was terrifying, but now she is relieved that the threat is no longer there. According to authorities, the people who planned to attack the show had a goal of causing mass casualties, and they were well trained to carry out a “terrorist attack”.
Soon after the arrest, the police department released an official statement in which they gave detailed information about the accused. According to the statement, they had also brought explosives and knives to harm the spectators. According to the statement, “Both the suspects had become radicalized on the Internet and had made solid preparations for the terrorist attack.”
It further said, “The main suspect had sworn allegiance to IS (Islamic State) on the internet and chemical substances were seized from his apartment during a house search.”
After the terror threat was neutralised on the spot, a Taylor Swift fan page shared on their Instagram Stories that the shows were cancelled due to the chaotic situation. The cancellation was also mentioned in a statement by police officials. It said that government authorities had refused to grant permission to host the concert following a terror attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium.

According to the New York Times report, the arrested were 19 and 17-year-old Austrians. Police officers also detained another 15-year-old suspect on August 9. Although Swift has not yet commented on the alleged terror plot, the Grammy Award winner claimed in one of the previous interviews that her “biggest fear” was concert attacks.
Meanwhile, Blake Lively and Taylor Swift have had a strong friendship for more than a decade. The two have been seen together at many events. Lively has also attended several Eras Tour concerts with her family.
Taylor Swift also revealed in her Instagram post that she has been the godmother to Lively and Reynolds’ four children. The singer’s next schedule is to perform at Wembley Stadium on August 15. As for Blake, the actress is receiving praise for her latest film adaptation of It Ends With Us, which is successfully running in theaters.
