BLACKPINK’s Lisa wants to be called ‘Boss Lisa’; talks about the group’s reunion
BLACKPINK member and rapper Lalisa recently talked about the popular band’s reunion and revealed how she wants to be addressed going forward.
Lalisa Manobal, a member and lead rapper of K-pop band Blackpink, is unstoppable. The artist recently confessed during a Billboard interview that she wants to dominate the international music scene. During the chat, Lisa also revealed the tile she is currently comfortable with, and talked about the highly anticipated Blackpink reunion.
Apart from being a musician, Lisa is also the CEO of a music label – Loud. However, he is not very comfortable being addressed as the CEO of something. Speaking about the same, Lisa shared, “I don’t want to say that. Call me boss – call me boss Lisa.”
Lisa was born as Pranapriya Manobal and was only 13 years old when she auditioned for the Korean company YG Entertainment. And after a little initial shock, the K-pop star hasn’t looked back.
Lisa also shared some details about Blackpink’s reunion during the interview and confirmed that they will indeed reunite in 2025.
“I can’t wait,” Lisa said. However, when asked about Blackpink’s upcoming world tour after the reunion, Lisa was unsure, saying, “That’s what they say?”
Blackpink debuted in 2016 and quickly became a household name. The girl group consists of four members – Lalisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo.
