The seven-episode show 2019 Non-Fiction Book Black Warrant: Confession of a Tihar is based on the jailer, written by Sunil Gupta and Sunitara Chaudhary. Among the many actors who appear in the series are Sidhant Gupta who plays serial killer Charles Sobraj.
