Bihar’s Loknayak Sharda Sinha’s condition critical, on ventilator support
The condition of folk singer Sharda Sinha, popularly known as Bihar Kokila, is critical and she is on ventilator support. His son, Anshuman Sinha, has been giving fans updates about his health through social media.

Veteran folk singer Sharda Sinha has been admitted to AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi. The condition of the Padma Bhushan awardee is critical and he is on ventilator support. His son Anshuman Sinha shared his health update on social media.
In a video, Anshuman told about his mother’s critical condition. He further appealed to Chhathi Maiya (Goddess Chhathi) to pray for his recovery. Sharda Sinha, famous for singing songs during Chhath festival, was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on October 25 due to illness. On October 27, Anshuman had shared the news of his hospitalization on social media.
During this time, Ramnath Thakur of Janata Dal (United) met him and requested the Director of AIIMS for the best possible treatment. However, his health remains critical.

While Sinha continues treatment in the hospital, his son has released his new song, Dukhwa Mitayin Chhathi Maiya, ahead of Chhath 2024. Many social media users took to the comments section to pray for his speedy recovery.
