Vijay Sethupathi hosted the inaugural episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. The actor announced a new theme and said that the first elimination will take place in 24 hours.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 was launched on a grand note on 6 October with Vijay Sethupathi hosting the inaugural episode. The actor, who is hosting the show for the first time, welcomed 18 contestants. Before welcoming the contestants, he gave the audience a virtual tour of the house. The theme of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 is Men vs Women. The house is also divided into two areas, which will be occupied by men and women.
Vijay Sethupathi was a fun host as he cleverly asked the toughest questions to the contestants with a smile on his face. He also warned the contestants that he would call them out if necessary.
