Host Vijay Sethupathi was on fire during the third weekend episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 8. His quick wit, charm and articulate speech won many hearts. They kicked off Saturday’s (October 19) episode with some highlights from the Friday (October 18) episode. Anshida and Sachana had a nasty fight over food, where Anshida accused the other of favoritism. Due to this both the women started crying.

The contestants managed to calm him down by taking him to different places. Vijay Sethupathi starts the episode by talking about the food issue and listening to his explanation. He instructed Sachana to fight for her rights and not back down.

Vijay Sethupathi called Jacqueline

Vijay Sethupathi addressed the issues inside the Bigg Boss house. He also praised the contestants for their behavior last week.

After this he talked to Jacqueline as to why she was not following any punishment. She tried to justify her stance by saying that the boys’ team was targeting her. However, Sethupathi called him out on his tactics for breaking the rules more than once and complained about the nature of the punishment.

Dharasha Gupta caught lying again

When there was a fight between Anshida and Sachana, Dhara Gupta intervened. Vijay Sethupathi said that it was wrong to intervene when emotions were at their peak.

Later, Arnav also points the finger at her for lying to the boys’ team about him, causing a rift between them. Sethupathi asked Dharasha if Arnav had said the words ‘mental torture’, and when she tried to avoid the question, she lied to him.

Arnav evicted from Bigg Boss Tamil 8

Last week the girls’ and boys’ teams were asked to give awards, in which their play was criticized. During Sunday’s episode, Sethupathi asked the contestants if they wanted to give the award to someone else in the group. Everyone in the boys team gave the award to Arnav.

Vijay Sethupathi saved the people present at the nomination. After this he announced that Arnav has been eliminated from the show. As he joined the host on stage, he spewed hatred at his fellow contestants.

Vijay Sethupathi stopped him and said that this is not the place to show his displeasure and asked him to be respectful while sharing his comments. Then he asked her to taste the biryani and see things from a new perspective. She also revealed that the boys’ team did not nominate her and that her eviction was decided by the audience.
