Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav Khanna’s wife rejects astrologer’s prediction regarding child
During ‘Bigg Boss 19’ Family Week, Gaurav Khanna’s wife Akanksha Chamola rubbished rumors of starting a family. Her candid response started a conversation among the housewives on responsibility and personal choices in motherhood.

During the family week in ‘Bigg Boss Season 19’, viewers saw Gaurav Khanna’s wife Akanksha Chamola enter the house, leading to sweet moments as they celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. While there, Akanksha quickly dismissed an astrologer’s claim that she was planning to start a family with the ‘Anupamaa’ actor, and clarified that she has no current desire to become a mother.
When Malti Chahar and Pranit More confronted her about the claims, Akanksha said, “Not at all. As of now, I don’t feel the desire to become a mother. And in the future too, I find it very difficult. For some reason, I don’t feel the need to have a child. I have my reasons, and I think when you find so many excuses, you are not ready. People who want to have children, they don’t argue that much.”
When Malti Chahar questioned her if she was scared of having a child, Akanksha gave a firm reply: “I’m not scared of it; I don’t think I can be that responsible. Giving birth to a child is not like making sweets; it’s a big responsibility, and I don’t think I can justify that duty at this age or at any age. You need to give 100 per cent. I have to make my career; I have ambitions, so if people call it selfish So I do it. Don’t worry.”
After the discussion, Gaurav Khanna explained to his wife why he consulted an astrologer: “I asked the astrologer that my wife and I have been married for so many years, and we never planned to have a child, so what does she think? When will we have a child?” Akanksha immediately replied, “You should ask me instead. I can tell you now what I think. You know my answer. No, I don’t.” To this Gaurav confessed, “Your answer scares me.”
‘Bigg Boss 19’ started on August 24 with the new theme of ‘Gharwal Ki Sarkar’. The theme states that the house will be run by the contestants like a democracy, and Bigg Boss will not interfere in everyday matters.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ will stream at 9 pm on JioHotstar and at 10:30 pm on Colors TV.
