Actor Karan Veer Mehra won the 18th season of the reality show Bigg Boss. The 46-year-old won the cash prize of Rs 50 lakh after host Salman Khan raised his hand and triumphantly announced his name on the closing stage. Actor Vivian Dsena was the first runner-up, while YouTuber Rajat Dalal became the second runner-up.

Earlier, in the social media poll conducted by India Today, Karan Veer had also emerged as the winner’s choice. The actor had entered the show in October last year as one of the 13 contestants. He spent more than three months inside the Bigg Boss 18 house and impressed the audience with his game.

Karan was one of the most popular contestants of this season. She entered the show after winning the adventure reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty. The actor was also joined by Shilpa Shirodkar, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, Arfeen Khan, Shrutika Arjun Raj, Tajinder Bagga. Sara Arfeen Khan, and Chahat Pandey, among others.

Apart from participating in Bigg Boss 18 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Karan Veer is known for his performances in TV shows Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pari Hoon Main, Bade Achhe Lagte Haan, Sasural Simar Ka, Police Aur Crime goes. And Virudh, and Doli Armano Ki, among others.
