Amitabh Bachchan shared amusing anecdotes from the shoot of Yaarana’s song Sara Zamana during Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. He shared that he danced because he was getting electric shocks.
In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan shared behind-the-scenes stories about his iconic song Sara Zamana from Yaarana while interacting with contestant Swapna Chaturvedi from Madhya Pradesh.
Swapan, a fan of the film, praised Amitabh’s versatility, to which the actor jokingly replied, “We are in search of a job, we will get a job(I’m just trying to get a job)
Talking about Saara Zamana, Amitabh recalled that he suggested shooting the song at Kolkata’s newly opened Netaji Subhas Chandra Stadium. However, a massive crowd of 50,000 people turned up, far exceeding the stadium’s capacity of 12,000, forcing them to stop filming. Later, they secretly returned to shoot at night, using candles to create the illusion of an audience.
He also shared a funny anecdote about himself.electrician Jacket’, explaining that the lights were operated by a wire, and he started dancing not of his own will, but because of the electric shocks he was receiving. “The moment the electricity started flowing, I started dancing – not because I wanted to, but because I was getting electric shocks!” he shared.
