November 1 was a big day for Bollywood as two much-hyped commercial films collided on this day. While on one hand Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again was bringing a new addition to his police universe, on the other hand there was the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. Both the films have their own fan following as part of much-loved franchises. The opening day figures also witnessed fireworks at the box office.

As per early estimates, Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 took a stellar opening of Rs 35.50 crore. This is Kartik Aryan’s biggest opening day number. His previous best film was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which earned Rs 14.11 crore on the first day. This is in line with predictions made by trade experts.

According to the website, the audience also showered their love on the film and gave it a whopping occupancy of 75.30 percent. SacnilkThe morning show had around 50 percent occupancy, which increased to 84 percent in the night show.

India Today Digital gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars.Our review of the film said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a good festival entertainer worth watching. If the first half had worked better, the film would have taken itself to a higher level. And will Manjulika be back for the fourth time? Well, Your guess is as good as mine!”

Apart from Kartik Aryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, the film also stars Trupti Dimri and Rajpal Yadav.
