In 2006, filmmaker Priyadarshan brought together the hilarious trio of Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal to make Bhagam Bhaag. The three lead actors, along with many other talented actors, made the film a source of unlimited laughter and entertainment. Well, decades after the release of the comedy film, the makers have finally confirmed that they are working on Bhaagam Part 2 which will have ‘more laughs, fun and entertainment’.

According to a report in India Today, Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions has acquired the rights for the sequel and will produce the film in association with Shemaroo Entertainment. Currently, Bhagam Part 2 is in its scripting stage. When asked why the film was taking so long to come out, Saritha told the publication, “Because a special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that is equally special, when the time was right, we decided Took.”

Hiren Gada (CEO of Shemaroo Entertainment) also said that they are excited to partner with an incredible team to create a film that will continue the legacy of its predecessor by bringing “more laughter, fun and entertainment”. The makers also confirmed that the upcoming film will be more crazy, crazy and fun.

Earlier this month, an industry insider spoke exclusively to Pinkvilla about the sequel and said, “Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Garam Masala are the three most special films for Akshay Kumar and he has already done Hera Pheri and Bhagam. Have selected the franchise rights. Part. The sequel is currently in the writing stage with new writers.

It was also confirmed that Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal will reunite to guarantee the audience unlimited doses of laughter. The source said, “Three comic legends in the same film will be a treat for cinema-going audiences, and the idea is to create a script that does justice to the legacy of their work in the past. The scripting work has just begun, as an idea for Bhagam Part 2 already exists. Akshay will be collaborating with another producer on the film and the details are kept under wraps as of now.
