Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain failed to gain popularity in its opening weekend. The comedy drama directed by Shashank Bali started its journey on a slow note at the box office, earning only Rs. 20 lakhs on the first day. It did not see any growth on the second day and remained stagnant, sealing its fate at the box office. As per estimates, the comedy drama recorded a nominal growth for the third day today and collected around Rs. 30 lakhs to tally.
The total earning of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain is now Rs. Earned Rs 70 lakh at the Indian box office. The film is based on a television IP of the same name, which has a few followers but hasn’t made much of a dent in viewership. That said, the film turned out to be a major disaster in its opening weekend itself.
A major reason for the film not doing well at the box office is its poor word-of-mouth. Had the film received a positive response, there might have been some expectations at the box office. Based on current trends, the film is expected to collect around Rs. 2,000 in its opening week itself. Till then she can earn her full income. 1 crore to Rs. Earned Rs 1.20 crore at the Indian box office. It was released along with Sanjay Mishra’s Vadh 2, which has performed comparatively well so far.
