Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is ready for a major upgrade. BGMI 4.1 will launch tomorrow, November 13, for Android and iOS users. This update introduces a refreshed winter experience, unique rewards, and several performance enhancements aimed at improving the overall gaming environment. The update will introduce the new A16 Royale Pass, a Frosty Finland-themed mode, and several enhancements.

BGMI Frosty Funland Theme

The highlight of the BGMI 4.1 update is the introduction of the Frosty Funland theme, which provides a festive winter atmosphere on in-game maps just in time for the winter season. Players will notice that familiar locations have been replaced with “snow-covered landscapes and holiday decorations”.

In addition to the visual changes, the Frosty Funland theme brings new interactive elements and challenges. The map will include new environmental elements such as cold structures and winter landscapes, which will present new challenges for players.

BGMI A16 Royal Pass

BGMI 4.1 update introduces the A16 Royale Pass, which gives players access to exclusive content and progression rewards in the new season. As is the case with the Season Pass, A16 brings special in-game rewards, including fresh skins, outfits, and weapon skins.

Players can choose between two versions of the A16 Royale Pass – free and premium. The premium version offers additional benefits, including access to exclusive rewards and more customization options. You also get new A16 exclusive skins. Premium Passholders will also get more in-game features and additional missions to create a more immersive experience.

Beyond cosmetics and themes, the BGMI 4.1 update comes with technical improvements targeting gameplay quality to improve the user experience. This update focuses on better controls and connectivity. Crafton has focused on improving the in-game controls and matchmaking algorithms, therefore ensuring a smoother gameplay with better connectivity.

BGMI 4.1 is also expected to bring faster matchmaking before games, saving users time. Responsiveness is also expected to improve with better optimizations in gameplay. Krafton has also worked on fixing bugs in various devices. The update also addresses performance concerns across all devices.

When will BGMI 4.1 be released?

BGMI 4.1 update will launch tomorrow, November 13. The rollout in India will begin at 6:30 am for Android users. The initial release will be limited to 30 percent of users. By 9:30 am, BGMI 4.1 will be available to 50 percent of users, and the full rollout will be completed by 11:30 am.

iOS users will get the BGMI 4.1 update from 9:30 am onwards. The APK file will be uploaded on the official website of BGMI by 12:30 pm. All times are in IST (Indian Standard Time).
