Lokesh Kanagarj is expanding further with Cinematic Universe, aka LCU, Raghav Lawrence starrer Benz. As the film is already discussing a lot, the producers have dropped a tampering on its casting, and it seems that Malayali Star, Nivin Pyar, will be involved in it.
In a recent post, the manufacturers of G Squad left an update on social media, leading to his villain. Sharing the same, an official announcement will be made on June 4, 2025, and he said, “You are ready for it. This is a clue. #Benzcastrevel tomorrow.”
While a teasing image of character has been dropped, several reports indicate that Nivin Payal will handle the main baddi role. However, this will be confirmed only in time.
The producers of Benz tease their villain character
The upcoming Tamil-language action thriller features Raghav Lawrence in the title character, in which Remo Director Bakkiyraj Kannan handles the direction.
Coming under the LCU, the film was co-shared by Lokesh Kanagarj, which co-produces the enterprise under his own production house. As the fourth installment of the cinematic universe comes in trapping, Vathi fame will be playing the role of a Samyukta female lead.
Interestingly, music sensation and AA22 composer Sai will make his debut as a music director with this film.
Lokesh Kanagarj had earlier included three films in his cinematic universe, including Karthi-Starr Kathy, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and Leo, starring Thalapati Vijay. The director left the details of his potential future already, Benz will first mark that a film within the universe would not be played by a master director.
Coming to the Kanagarj’s work front, the director is soon set to star the big screen with the film Cool. The upcoming action film is slapped to release on August 14, 2025, playing the lead roles of Nagarjuna Akineni and Upendra Rao.
With the hope of Aamir Khan appearing in the cameo, the film has an supporting actor, which includes Saubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj and others.
On the other hand, Nivin Pauly recently shot his film Baby Girl. In addition, Premam actor has films like Dolby Dinshan and Dear Students, with Nayantara, and much more in his lineup.
