BEL shares fell 1.65% as Sensex fell

Even as the BSE benchmark Sensex fell 435.14 points to 80908.32, shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd fell 1.65 percent at 12:58 pm on Friday to Rs. was traded at 308.3.

Price-to-book value reflects the intrinsic value of a company and the price investors are willing to pay even if there is no growth in the business. The stock’s beta value, which measures its volatility relative to the broader market, was 1.44.

Shareholding details

As on 30-Jun-2024, promoters held 51.14 per cent stake in the company, while FIIs held 17.43 per cent and DIIs 16.08 per cent.

Technicals
On the technical chart, the relative strength index (RSI) of the stock stood at 47.33. RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Conventionally, when the RSI value is above 70 it is considered an overbought position and when it is below 30 it is considered an oversold position. Chartists say, RSI should not be looked at in isolation, as it may not be enough to take. A trading call, as fundamental analysts cannot give a ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ recommendation using a single valuation ratio.
