Kai Trump, granddaughter of US President-elect Donald Trump, has shared a glimpse of her family’s celebration on election night after her grandfather’s victory over Kamala Harris. They also shared moments involving Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s photo with the Trump family.
The 17-year-old is an avid vlogger on YouTube and posts moments from her life with her 1,78,000 subscribers. In her latest video, the teenager shared her thoughts on Donald Trump’s second term in the White House.
The over 10-minute video begins with Kai applying makeup and sharing her thoughts about the election. “I’m getting ready for election night here at my home at Mar-a-Lago and the Convention Center,” she said, sitting in the makeup chair.
On the way to the Florida resort, she listened to ABBA ‘money Money money’ She sang a song every time she passed through the gate. Kai said she had not seen her grandfather for some time because he was busy campaigning, adding that she was “very excited” to see him again. “He’s called me almost every other day,” he said.
As soon as she reached the venue, the video showed the room filled with her family and close friends. In total, he watched four TVs, with different channels giving results.
The vlog also shows how the viral family photo, which also features the world’s richest man, was taken. As family members posed for the cameras, Trump was seen making an effort to include Musk and his four-year-old son, X Æ A-12, in another photo.
Trump can be heard saying in the video, “Elon… you’ve got to get Elon with her guy. Gorgeous, perfect guy.”
After the watch party, Kai went to the Palm Beach Convention Center to meet her friends, who also appeared on the vlog.
While Kai said she was “very nervous” at the beginning of the night, she later described November 5 as a “special night”.
“I’m very proud of him (Donald Trump)… I think he deserves it more than anyone in the whole world… He’s an incredible person and a unique individual,” she said.
“It was his last time racing so it was very special for him to win because he really deserved it,” he said. She said she was now “really excited” to see what Donald Trump would do over the next few years, adding, “He’s going to kill it.”
