Malayalam actor Basil Joseph was seen enthusiastically supporting his friend Sanju Samson during India’s T20 World Cup win. The actor proudly bought a jersey and described himself as the president of Sanju’s Kerala fan club.

Malayalam actor and director Basil Joseph was one of the few celebrities who witnessed the iconic moment of India lifting the T20 World Cup trophy at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8. From buying a jersey with Sanju Samson’s name on it to declaring himself the president of the cricketer’s fan club in Kerala, Basil had a fun day cheering for the Indian opener.

In a video that is now going viral, a group of young boys are seen outside the stadium watching Basil cheer for Sanju. Together, they see a roadside shop where the director buys a jersey with Sanju’s name on it and shows it to him like any die-hard fan.
Then one of the boys introduced Basil as the president of Sanju Samson’s Kerala Fan Club. Screaming with joy, Basil got the color of the Indian flag on his cheeks and entered the venue with high expectations.
