The BAFTA Film Awards 2025 nominations will be revealed by 2024 EE Rising Star winner Mia McKenna-Bruce and BAFTA-winner Will Sharp on Wednesday, January 15 at 12pm (GMT). The announcement will take place at BAFTA’s headquarters in London, and will be streamed live on BAFTA’s YouTube channel.
The BAFTA Film Awards ceremony will return to the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Center in central London. It will be telecast on 16th February.
As for All We Imagine as Light, the film tells the heart-touching story of two Malayali nurses, Prabha and Anu. Prabha’s life changes when she receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband, while Anu faces challenges in finding privacy with her partner. Directed by Payal Kapadia, the film stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hriday Haroon. It won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and is available for streaming on Prime Video from January 3.
