Karan Johar’s production venture Bad News is releasing in theatres today (19 July). The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk in lead roles. The makers held a special screening of Bad News in Mumbai on Thursday.

Sam Merchant praises Tripti Dimri’s upcoming film, Bad Newz
On July 19, Sam Merchant shared his review about Bad Newz on Instagram. In his Instagram story, Sam posted a clip of Vicky Kaushal and Tripati Dimri’s song, Tauba Tauba, playing on the big screen.
Tagging Tripti, he wrote, “Superb performance…totally entertaining,” and added “Uff” with a red heart emoji at the end.

Screening of Bad News
The star cast of Bad Newz including Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk attended its screening in the city. Producer Karan Johar was also a part of the screening.
Vicky’s family along with his wife, actress Katrina, brother, actor Sunny Kaushal, father action-director Sham Kaushal and mother Veena Kaushal were also spotted at the screening of Bad Newz yesterday.
The Bad Newz actor posed for the paparazzi with Katrina at the event. Sunny posed for pictures with his parents Sham and Veena. Apart from them, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, Kabir Khan, Jacky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh also attended the event.

There are speculations that romance is blossoming between Tripti Dimri and Sam Merchant. Tripti was holidaying with Sam in Goa in June this year.
The Bad Newz actress became nationally popular after working in Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal. She broke the hearts of her fans after some pictures of the alleged couple went viral during their wedding in December 2023.
Sam often remembers Tripti on his Instagram handle, be it congratulating her for her upcoming film Dhadak 2 or wishing the actress on her birthday.
Bad News, directed by Anand Tiwari, depicts a rare medical condition called Heteropaternal Superfecundation with comedy. The film also stars Neha Dhupia in an important role.
