Ayesha Takia was brutally trolled online after she shared pictures of herself in a saree. Fans claimed that she was unrecognisable in the pictures. Soon after, she deactivated the comments section on her posts. However, she eventually deactivated her profile for some time but then came back.
Ayesha shared a cryptic note on her Instagram Stories, in which she hinted that she would not react to the trolling. The post read, “Did you see how I didn’t react? Too careful, too sweet, too polite (sic).”

A few days ago, Ayesha posted a picture of herself in a blue Kanjeevaram saree, which she paired with a gold necklace. Fans said that the ‘Wanted’ actor looks unrecognisable in the picture.
The now-deleted post had comments like, “Looking good but natural beauty is always perfect,” “Can’t find that cute girl now…anyway…God bless and keep smiling,” and “You were my childhood crush.” Some users also questioned the actress about her beauty treatments.

Earlier this year, Ayesha faced criticism over her physical appearance when she was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her son. However, she responded to the haters with a note on Instagram: “Turns out there is no more important issue in the country than analysing my looks… been bombarded with viral ridiculous opinions of how people think I should have looked and how I don’t look (sic).”

She further added, “Forget about me. I am not interested in doing any films or making a comeback as people are saying. I am living my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame, not interested in any films. Please feel free not to care about me at all.”
Ayesha quit acting after marrying businessman Farhan Azmi in 2009. In her post, she further slammed trolls for expecting her to look 15 at the age of 38. Ayesha said, “These people are so unrealistic and ridiculous.”
Ayesha Takia started her career as a model and came into the limelight with Falguni Pathak’s song ‘Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye’. Later she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Tarzan: The Wonder Car’. She has been a part of films like ‘Dil Maange More’, ‘Dor’, ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ and others.
