Tamil actor Jagan, who has been popular for various roles over the years, recently hit out at the makers of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2. In an interview with Behindwoods, the actor reacted to the fact that his name is not even included in the film credits.
The actor said, “Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Vivek were included, but my name was not mentioned at all. I thought I was playing an important role, but I was not even included in their promotions.”

Elaborating further on this, actor Jagan asked why Kamal Haasan did not use his prominence as the lead to include him in the promotions. Further, the actor explained how the makers of the film had thought of two actors to play his character, but he got the role after the late KV Anand spoke to director Shankar.
Jagan said that director KV Anand spoke to Shankar on his behalf for about 30 minutes and only after that he got a call from the ‘Indian 2’ team. He also said that KV Anand did not even tell him that he had spoken to Shankar on his behalf.
Further, the actor revealed how even after all these years he is known for playing a supporting role in Ayan. For those who don’t know, Jagan played a pivotal role in this 2009 film starring Suriya in the lead and it was director KV Anand’s second directorial venture.
The film features a smuggler named Deva who seeks revenge on the underworld don responsible for the death of his best friend. The film also featured many actors like Prabhu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Akashdeep Saigal and the film was a blockbuster hit at that time.
