Warrang, who is the new enemy?
The third installment of the franchise introduces us to a new enemy, Warang, depicted by the Game of Thrones actor Ona Chaplin. The makers of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ shared the first poster of Varang a few weeks ago.
Warang is the leadership of the Mangakwan clan, which resides in an area near an active volcano. Looking at the NA’Vi, they can be identified with the presence of red paint. The trailer of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ started Warang as a leader with a pointed red and black headdress.
Here is the first looking poster of Varanga:

While the first two ‘avatar’ films performed a war between Na’Vi and humans, the third film will be seen fighting NA’VI as his species.
Warang and his clan look much more dangerous than Na’V. In a shot from the trailer, the Wararang can be seen unaffected by the fire. His fingers were seen after touching the flames. Could it be that Waranrang can control the fire? Now, it is a turn that can make the ‘avatar: fire and ash’ more interesting.

At the end of the trailer, Warang says, “Your Goddess has no dominance here.” It seems that his clan does not follow the Iva, the path of life that follows Na’Vi. It creates for a great struggle that can detect more intense emotions.
In an interview with EmpireJames Cameron talked about Warrang and “described him as a leader of those who have gone through an unreliable difficulty. In this film we wanted to do one thing, this black-white is not simple. We are ‘trying to develop beyond all humans, all the Nahvi are good’.
The film has a notable atheable artist, including Sigorni Weaver, Stephen Lang, Mitchell Yehoh and David Thewis, which adds to the anticipation. The screenplay is co-cumped by James Cameron, Rick Jafa and Amanda Silver, which contributes to the tradition on its rich story.
Determined for release worldwide on December 19, 2025, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is part of the ongoing saga, with a fourth film for 2029 and a final installment in 2031.
