Ajay Devgn and Tabu are working together once again in the Neeraj Pandey directed film ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’. The film will release on Friday, 2 August 2024. Audiences flocked to the theatres to watch this film starring Ajay and Tabu and here is what they are saying about the film.
Ajay and Tabu’s film ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’ is getting mixed response on X (formerly Twitter). While some fans are loving their chemistry, a section of the audience is not impressed with the story.
“What a film! Ajay Devgn sir you are a gem,” tweeted an ex-user.
An ex-user, who had watched ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, felt that the film had become ‘outdated’.

An ex-user liked the chemistry between Ajay and Tabu but felt that the story was outdated. The user pointed out that the film’s direction was poor and the screenplay was too long.
“Ajay Devgan and Tabu have great chemistry…everyone’s acting was good. Can’t say the same about the film. The story has become old.”
The last 30 minutes were ridiculous, direction was poor, screenplay was long, but some scenes were emotional and sweet.”
An x user, who is not fond of love stories but still watched Auryon Mein Kahan Dum Tha, reviewed the film, saying that its story is “non-linear”. The user called its plot “predictable” and added that the film, however, has “likeable characters”.
The tweet read, “Love stories are not my cup of tea but I still chose Neeraj Pandey. The non-linear story felt like a desi version of Ridley Scott’s ‘The Last Duel’. It’s a predictable slow-paced drama but a mature story with likable characters. The music was really good.”

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Auryon Mein Kahaan Dum Tha also stars Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Sai Manjrekar in important roles. Shantanu and Sai play the childhood characters of Ajay and Tabu respectively.
The story revolves around a couple named Krishna and Vasudha, whose love story spans 23 years from 2000 to 2023.
