Atlee directs special film for Ambani wedding, Amitabh Bachchan gives voice
Atlee directed a special 10-minute animated film for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, which also features the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, as reported by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. Anant and Radhika got married on July 12.

‘Jawaan’ director Atlee has been a part of almost all the Ambani parties. The filmmaker took a unique step and created a special 10-minute animated film for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia reports that it also had the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, who has been a part of many Ambani functions.
Ranveer Allahbadia, popular for the YouTube channel The Bear Biceps, shared his Ambani wedding experience in a podcast with American comedian-actor Akash Singh.
Talking about ‘Baaraat’, Ranveer said, “On the second day of the wedding, they released a 10-minute film during the wedding for the wedding guests. It was directed by Atlee, it was an animated film, and Amitabh Bachchan had voiced it. It was a micro-film as a wedding event.”
Talking about the baraat, Allahbadia further said, “They had built a long road, and stations along that road. And at each station there was a music superstar.”
He also added, “I would never be able to go past the stations. In a normal wedding, you just walk in with the whole team and move on. But here, the team was stopping at every station, doing a small sangeet, the artistes were in high spirits, and everyone in the baraat was going crazy.”
