While performing acrobatics, you need to be very careful about the surface. You can opt for a yoga mat or look for a gym floor with a rubberized surface as a hard surface like a wooden floor can cause serious injuries. Once you find a comfortable floor, start with basic body stretching. Your body should be fully prepared and stretched before performing any gymnastics exercise. While performing acrobatics, certain body parts like the neck, arms, and ankles should be flexible and well stretched.

The next step is to bend your legs and place your hands in front of each foot. Your chest should be above your thighs and your head should be down looking at your navel. While doing this exercise, make sure that your head never hits the ground. Lean forward and push with your legs, aligning your hips above your head, placing your hands firmly on the ground. Keep your shoulders straight while doing this.
The main step of the somersault is to keep your upper back twisting without letting your head and neck touch the ground. As you roll, make sure to keep your shoulders straight and do not jump while doing the somersault as this can cause serious injury. To finish the somersault, roll back onto your feet and use your momentum to stand up straight.
Acrobatics requires a lot of practice and guidance, so if you are a beginner, make sure you do it under supervision and take professional coaching.
