‘Assi’ directed by Anubhav Sinha recorded a decline of 20-25 per cent on its second Friday and collected around Rs. 40 lakhs to tally. Generally, big center films perform better on Fridays, some even grow but here the business has declined. This brings its total 8-day fee to Rs. Earning Rs 6.90 crore at the Indian box office.
Backed by T-Series Films and Banaras Mediaworks, Assi should get growth over the weekend.
