Arvind Srinivas -headed Perplexity has made its AI browser free for all users after claiming that the weightlist had crossed millions. The comate brings an AI accessory that can browse the web, the user can tab and manage more based on the prompt.

Perplexity has officially made its comet browser free for all users. Now, users can download the browser and use comets auxiliary. AI can do many tasks based on signs, managing the tab, online shopping, or drafting email.
On X, Perplexity CEO Arvind Srinivas announced that now all users would get access to comets, including free schemes. He also revealed that the company will soon launch a mobile version of AI browser.

Perplexity claims that the weightlist for comets had crossed millions since July, and the users were waiting for the new AI browser to try. According to the company, users who tried comets asked 6 to 18 times more questions.
The comate assistant acts as an individual AI assistant, allowing users to get answers directly to any question for any webpage. AI can make flight tickets, online shopping, as per the indication from the user.
This announcement is made at a time when Google has integrated Gemini into Chrome. Earlier this year, Perplexity bid for $ 34.5 billion to acquire Chrome.
Perplexity launched the comate in July this year, only for Perplexity Max Subscribers. Those who wanted to try the comet, they had to keep their name on the weightlist. On 22 September, Perplexity CEO Arvind Srinivas provided the browser to all supporters in India to the browser.
Other AI firms are not behind in the browser’s race. Openai’s operator launched in January, in which anthropic introduced his own browser-based agent in August.
Perplexity launches comet plus
