Golmaal directed by Rohit Shetty is considered to be one of the most entertaining films of his career. As the title of Golmaal suggests, it was undoubtedly a ‘fun unlimited’ entertainment film. The 2006 film is loved for its hilarious dialogues, strong comedy sequences and ensemble cast. Recently, Golmaal actor Arshad Warsi shared that his co-star Ajay Devgan has a ‘bad sense of humour’. Arshad also revealed how he improvised the iconic black sequence in the film.
During his latest interview with Mashable India, Arshad Warsi opened up about the black scene in Golmaal: Fun Unlimited. Arshad revealed that the improvised sequence was not written in the script.
(I had a lot of fun on the set. Ajay Devgan has a very bad sense of humor). We kind of started doing this crazy thing… I I was laughing at the ‘barf padnaan waali hai’ thing…it’s so much fun doing this nonsense,” the Golmaal star said.
Arshad Warsi further revealed that the writer had written this sequence on the sets of Golmaal. Arshad said that he and his co-star Ajay played the scene the way they did. Actor Manoj Joshi was also seen in this hilarious scene.
Golmaal: Fun Unlimited starred Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi and Tusshar Kapoor in lead roles. He played the role of four friends, Gopal, Madhav, Lakshman and Lucky, who get caught in ridiculous situations. The 2006 film also starred Rimi Sen, Sanjay Mishra, Paresh Rawal, Sushmita Mukherjee and Mukesh Tiwari.
Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal franchise has had three more installments so far: Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. The fifth film of this series, Golmaal 5 is in the pipeline. The makers had hinted at the upcoming film in the song Aankh Marey from Simmba in 2018.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Rohit Shetty confirmed that Golmaal 5 is being made. “There is still time. The Golmaal series will continue to be made. This will not happen. But there is still time. The Golmaal series will continue to be made. It is not possible that the film will not be made. But it will take time.” ,” He said.
Arshad Warsi was recently seen in Abhishek Saxena’s film Banda Singh Chaudhary. This film was released on 25 October 2024.
