Actor Arjun Rampal has taken the internet by storm after his recent interview with Ranveer Allahabadia. The Om Shanti Om actor spoke about marrying at a young age, confessing the reason for his divorce and more. In one part, he talked about cheating and physical relationships, which left the internet in deep thought.
Laughing during the interview, Arjun said, “I love sex”, adding that he feels physical intimacy is a very important part of one’s life. “I think being with a partner is even more important. When you are sharing a bed, sharing a physical relationship, you don’t realise there is a huge energy exchange happening, there is a change in what you are taking from that person. It is getting into your DNA somewhere,” the 51-year-old said.
Arjun Rampal was previously married to Meher Jessia from 1998 to 2019 and the former couple has two daughters – Mahikaa and Myra. Since 2018, Rampal has been in a relationship with Gabriella Demetriades with whom he has two sons – Arik and Ariv. The two have not decided to get married on paper and believe that they are married in their minds – as shared by the actor in the same interview.

When the interviewer brought up the topic of cheating and non-monogamous relationships, Rampal immediately called it an addiction. “It’s a habit that people have created for themselves. I know a lot of people who want another woman or something and they are in a very happy marriage, they call it a happy marriage, I don’t know how, whatever, they say it’s just an affair or nothing, but it’s nothing. It’s actually an addiction, it’s really going to drag you down.”
The Dhaakad actor further explained that even though it is a bad thing, people should not be hard on themselves. Arjun admitted that he was one such person who was very hard on himself and wasted a lot of time cursing himself about everything. Rampal advises people not to repeat the mistakes and change themselves instead of wasting time thinking about their mistakes.
Arjun Rampal was last seen in Vidyut Jammwal starrer Crack, which received mixed-to-negative reviews upon release.
