The globally acclaimed artiste was seen consoling an emotional fan while sitting on stage. He lovingly asked him to ‘wipe his tears’. The video of the heartwarming moment has gone viral on social media, with fans praising his kindness.

The video has been shared by the fan herself. The fan named Aarti Kheterpal broke down in tears as Arijit Singh sang the song ‘Sajni’ from Missing Ladies in the video. Recalling the moment when the singer made eye contact with her, asked her to wipe her tears and sat in front of her, she wrote in the caption, “God sends signs and tonight’s @arijitsingh concert was proof!”

Aarti further wrote in the caption, “As he started singing his emotional song, memories of my ex-boyfriend in London came back, the promises, the betrayal, the lies and the heartbreak. At that moment, Arijit – without knowing why I was crying – sang, consoled and said, ‘Forgive and forget’.”
