Speaking to Vanity Fair, he confirmed, “The honest answer is I have a lot of friends and we’re friends and we had dinner, and we’re friends.” He put an end to all speculation and said that because of all the extra scrutiny and suspicion caused by their time together, he wanted to avoid it, “I just wanted to hide.”
Austin Butler and Emily Ratajkowski were spotted hanging out more than once, raising questions about their relationship status. Previously, they were spotted having a casual dinner together in New York City in September. Later, he was captured at a booth at the Waverly Inn in the West Village. They looked like they were having a good time after a few drinks and then they were photographed again during the Caught Stealing movie premiere party in NYC.
The film also became the backdrop for romance rumors with his co-star Zoe Kravitz, who has since moved on to Harry Styles.
