Archana Puran Singh on The Great Indian Kapil Show said that she earns less than others
Actress Archana Puran Singh spoke about her remuneration on Netflix’s comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. She says she earns less than other cast members on the show.

Actress Archana Puran Singh, who will soon return for the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show along with Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover, recently shared that she earns less than her peers.
Recently during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, actor Kiku Sharda was asked if he feels bad about putting so much effort into the costumes and makeup on The Great Indian Kapil Show while Archana earns by just sitting and laughing.
Before Kiku could answer, Archana said, “These people take double the money. So it is right, work hard brother. (These people earn double the money, so they must work hard). I get paid for laughing, and they get paid for their hard work. Some get paid for their beauty, others for their talent, but I get paid for all of these.”
Actor Sunil Grover, who played multiple roles in the show, praised Archana during an interview saying, “Archana ji has an impressive personality.”

Archana often grabs people’s attention because of her loud laughter. She said, “Not only me, even Kajol and Deepika Padukone laugh loudly. Many women laugh loudly. My laughter is different from everyone else because I get many opportunities to laugh in the show.”
However, Archana clarified that she does not keep laughing all the time. She said, “We live normally. Meaning celebrities don’t live alone like crazy people (I’m not the only one laughing like crazy) Sometimes, when I’m shopping people meet me and say, ‘Hey Archana ji, you are not upset’ (You are not laughing, Archana ji). It is very disturbing. Some people have even asked me to laugh out loud while taking photos. I am not a crazy person, and I have walked away from such situations.”
The new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show will start streaming on Netflix from September 21.
