Apple updates the cheapest iPad with new chipset, double storage: India Price, Major Glasses and Other Details
Apple has upgraded entry-level iPad with A16 chip and additional storage. The device is now available for pre-order at an initial price of Rs 34,900.

Apple announced a new iPad Air on Tuesday. But in the middle of the big news, there was another small nugget – an update for the base iPad, which is also the cheapest iPad in the lineup. The base iPad now comes with the A16 chipset – the same chip first operated flagship iPhone 15. With the core performance promotes, Apple has replaced the base variant of its affordable iPad with 128GB from the 64GB base variant and added a 512GB storage option.

A16 iPad with India Price and Availability
The iPad, as mentioned, is now three variants. The base starts with 128GB storage. It is also available in two connectivity options: Wi-Fi only or WiFi plus cellular. Here is India pricing of India:

The new iPad is now available for pre-order through Apple’s official website. Its sale starts from March 12. Customers can buy new iPad with A16 chip in four color options: blue, pink, yellow and silver.
IPad with A16 chip: specification
Processor: The biggest upgrade apple has made for its entry level iPad. The new updated iPad A16 is powered by the chip – the same chipset apple was in its major iPhone 15. The A16, as the name suggests, provides better performance than the previous generation iPad which included the A14 chip.
According to Apple, the A16 chip makes the new iPad about 30 percent faster than its predecessor and a 50 percent faster than the ipad with the A13 bionic chip. The A16 chip in the iPad has a 5-core CPU and 4-core GPU-it is slightly less powerful than the 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU in the A16 bionic chip used in iphones.
Battery: The new iPad promises web browsing for 10 hours. It supports 20W charging via USB-C port.
Design and display: The new updated iPad 2360×1640 retains its 11 -inch liquid retinal display with a resolution of the pixel and 500 NIT shine. For safety, the device includes a touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
Camera: The updated iPad has a 12-megapixel front camera with a 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and center stage support for video calls.
Connectivity: The entry level supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and 5G for iPad cellular models. In particular, the cellular version now completely depends entirely on ESIM technology, removing the physical SIM card slot.
stuff: Update iPad is compatible with the first generation apple pencil and supports magnetic keyboard folios. It also has a USB-C port for charging and external display output, with support for resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz.
