Apple is allegedly preparing a major overhaul for its MacBook Pro Lineup in 2026, with significant design and hardware changes. Published in newspaper according to Mark Gurman’s latest power BloombergThis update will introduce an OLED display, a thin design and M6 chip, which is one of the most important upgrades for the MacBook Pro in recent years.

After its start in iPad Pro in 2024, one of the biggest changes for OLED display technique will be infection. The move is expected to increase brightness, contrast ratio and color accuracy, providing a better visual experience for MacBook Pro users. Apple to release the new M5 MacBook Pro later this year

Before the arrival of this major redesign, Apple is expected to release an interim MacBook Pro Refresh later this year, characterizing the M5 chip. According to Gurman, this update is “a lock” and will possibly follow the specific release cycle of Apple reaching around October. The M5 update is not expected to bring any major design changes, but the current MacBook will serve as a bridge between Pro model and 2026 overhall.
