In short
- Apple may probably give 2026 MacBook Pro Lineup OLED display
- 2026 MacBook Pro is also expected to get rid of a new rounded corner camera layout
- Macs can come with Apple’s M6 Chips
Apple is allegedly planning a major change for its MacBook Pro in 2026. According to reports, the company is preparing to launch a smooth and more advanced version of its professional-grade laptop, with an OLED display, design change and more powerful chip. In fact, the 2026 MacBook Pro is asked to bring the largest redesign in five years.
According to a recent leak by Thelec, one of the largest main attractions of the 2026 MacBook Pro will be its infection for OLED display technique. Apple is expected to use the same tendom oLED panels in its MacBook Pro that started in the iPad Pro lineup in 2024.
Unlike the standard single-stack OLED, the two-stack tendom structure contains two layers of red, green and blue pixels. This allows configuration devices to offer high brightness levels and a long screen lifetime. Meanwhile, OLED McBook Air which is expected to come after the OLED MacBook Pro is expected to receive a single-stack panel.
Another major change in the 2026 MacBook Pro Lineup is described as a replacement of notch. According to an Oldia report, Apple can dig the familiar notch that has a webcam introduced in 2021 – a design element – and replaced with a low infiltration camera cutout, described as “round corner + hole cut”. Although it is unclear that it will reflect the dynamic island of the iPhone or will remain a simple punch-appearance, the change will definitely provide more immersive screen experience.
Beyond the performance changes, Apple is allegedly planning a thin chassis for the McBook Pro, allegedly designed, suggests a report by Bloomberg. Although the details around this redesign are rare, if it is correct. This will make MacBook light and smooth while maintaining the edge of its performance. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg also noted that Apple had initially targeted the Big Redigned MACS for the release of 2025, but the launch was delayed due to lack of OLED supply, which pushed the readingine to the latter of 2026.
Apple is expected to have the M6 Chip family of Apple’s next generation from the MacBook Pro in the heart of 2026. These chips are expected to be before Apple to use the 2Nm construction process of TSMC, which will lead to major improvements in speed and power efficiency. With the previous generations, the new laptops are likely to come in the M6, M6 Pro, and M6 Max configurations in the sizes of 14-inch and 16-inch.
Meanwhile, for this year, Apple is not slow. A MacBook Pro Refresh is reportedly to be closed later this year, which is likely to be in October. Although a design in this update will not be overhaul, it will introduce a significant power boost with M5, M5 Pro and M5 Max variants with M5 chip lineups. These processors are allegedly being built on the N3P process of the TSMC – the third recurrence of its 3Nm technology – provides moderate performance benefits on the M4 series.
Aligned with the new silicon, the 2025 MacBook Pro Lineup is also expected to bring internal promotion, including Wi-Fi 7 support, which was left by Apple in the previous generation. However, for those waiting for dramatic changes in both display and design, there will be one to see the 2026 MacBook Pro.
