It’s that time of year again. Apple is hosting its annual iPhone launch event. The event, dubbed “It’s Glotime,” will see the debut of Apple intelligence on the iPhone. However, the launch will be full of hardware, with the new iPhone 16 series, the new Apple Watch Series 10, and the AirPods 4 to be announced. We also expect upgrades to the HomePod and AirPods Max.

The event will begin at 10:30 PM IST and will be held at Apple’s headquarters in Apple Park in San Francisco, California.

At tonight’s launch event, Apple will continue its approach of offering four models in the iPhone lineup: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. All models will feature the new A18 Pro chipset for improved performance. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to have a new design, with a vertical camera setup like the iPhone X, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 2x optical zoom. The iPhone 16 Plus has a larger display, making it ideal for those who enjoy streaming and gaming.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will see the most significant upgrades, especially in the camera department. The ultra-wide lens will be upgraded to 48 megapixels, and improvements in battery life are expected to increase usage time.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is rumoured to have a slimmer design with thinner bezels, and the screen size could grow from 41mm to 45mm and 45mm to 49mm. Advanced health features are expected, including possible blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection.

Apple’s AirPods 4 will reportedly replace the AirPods 2 and 3, offering two models. The budget-friendly version will lack active noise cancellation, while the mid-range version will include the feature. Both models are expected to adopt USB-C charging, with the lower-priced model offering only wired charging, and the higher-end version supporting wireless charging.
