In the earnings release, Apple revealed that its revenue in Q1 was $143.8 billion. This is an increase of 16 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Talking about profits, the company recorded a net profit of $42.09 billion.

The iPhone 17 series was launched in September 2025. Tim Cook told Reuters that demand for the iPhone 17 was “shocking”. According to Apple CEO, iPhone sales in this quarter were better than expected. He added, “Demand for the iPhone was amazing, with revenues increasing 23% year over year to achieve their biggest quarter in history.” The company also reported that it gained market share in December, surpassing Android competitors.
However, Tim Cook also indicated that rising RAM prices could have a greater impact on the company’s margins due to increased demand for AI data centers.
